Every year the picturesque village of Chearsley in Buckinghamshire hold a classic and vintage fun day in order to raise funds for the Chearsley Cricket Club junior section, and this year was no different. Now in it's 14th year, and I must have been attending this show for about 13 of those years, and it just gets better and better. The car show attracts around 500 vehicles on the day and there is everything you could imagine. From classic cars to military vehicles, motorcycles and commercial vehicles and agricultural vehicles. Attractions at the show include a fun fair, live music, hot and cold food stalls, a bar and plenty of art and craft stalls. The organisers normally arrange a fly by from a WW2 Spitfire, but unfortunately this couldn't happen this year. This years show was arranged for Sunday 14th September 2025. The forecast was good so Suzie and I headed off to drive the 10 miles deep into the Buckinghamshire countryside. The review continues as I wander around the show.

So that was the Chearsley Classic Car Show for 2025, overall a great day out with plenty to see and do. For a one day show held in a quiet sleepy village deep in the Buckinghamshire countryside this really is a show not to miss. The sheer number of vehicles on display increases every year and the organisers have now had to overflow the show onto the neighbouring farmers field to accommodate all the vehicles. With live music and hot food available along with trade stands and a small funfair there really is something for everyone. Next weeks blog is all about the Wolfsburg Bus Crew's Autumn club meet at Wendover Woods, this will be an all air-cooled filled review so be sure to come back next week.
