Brill Classic Car Show (part 1)

Over the weekend of 23rd / 24th August the village of Brill, in Buckinghamshire, held a fun weekend with steam rides, attractions, assorted stalls and refreshments, kids area, a beer tent with over 40 different real ales & ciders, street food, all day music and a classic car show. Brill village is nestled high up in the Buckinghamshire countryside, and probably most famous for it's windmill. I've been attending the Brill classic car show for many years now and it's getting bigger every year. There is a vast array of classic vehicles but without the snobbery you sometimes get from classic car owners. So on the Sunday morning Suzie and I jumped in the bus and we headed off. Brill is only about 13 miles from my hometown so this really is a local show.

Although I arrived quite early, the show
field was rapidly filling up with classic
vehicles.

I'm not sure what this old 'woody' was,
but I know that I loved it.

along to the show. This is John's model 'A'
roadster.

Another buddy, Bob, brought his lovely
model 'A' 5 window.

This really is such a lovely car.

The Mini was well represented at the
show.

I think this lovely old Jag is an XK150,
from the 1950's, although I could be wrong.
