This weeks review is a bonus review about the Wolfsburg Bus Crew's Spring meet, with all the photos taken by Rich Coxhill, who formed the club 10 years ago. I asked Rich for some info on the club, and in his own words he say's..
The Wolfsburg Bus Crew was born out of West London and we are very proud to be celebrating our 10th year as a club. We are a free to join club for owners of VW split screen's, Bay window's and T25's and as well as attending many VW events throughout the year we hold 3 events that are for our members, the WBC Spring meet, the Crew Camp Out & Birthday Bash and the Autumn Meet. Both our meets are at Wendover Woods and our camp out is at Banbury (as we are based all over the U.K. and find these quite central areas to meet up in).
Our Crew is full of like minded people from all walks of life who all share a passion for their buses and appreciate others too. Members are not just limited to the U.K., There are Wolfsburg Bus Crew Members all over the world! From South Africa to South America to Austria to Australia to name but a few.
We have come along way in the 10 years with over 1500 members worldwide. The club has truly exceptional buses that are part of it, and with that comes a fantastic crew that prides itself on seeing the club thrive and succeed to be the best!
We are a lot more than a Facebook page, We are a club for owners of Volkswagen Spilt screen's, Bays and T25's and one of the most active Classic Volkswagen Clubs in the U.K., we have won numerous awards over the years which we are very grateful and proud of! But... One thing we are most proud of is that over the past 10 years and through the love of the awesome vehicles amazing memories have been made and life long friendships have bee formed!
Well said Rich, and thanks for the info. If you'd like to join the WBC, (and remember it's free to join), just head over to their Facebook page. Here is the link to their page. Wolfsburg Bus Crew | Facebook

All the members that attended the meet voted for what they thought was the 'Best Bus' on the day.. |
![]() |
The bus with that received the most votes was Dan Cooper's 1979 late bay panel van. |
![]() |
Dan says the bus is good for cruising along at 60MPH but also being very economical on fuel. |

The front bench seat is a custom made unit as it was previously a walk through model. |

Dan made all the units and even included an old Belfast bathroom sink that he already had. The upholstery in the back was all done by Kens Kustoms, who done an amazing job. |

So that was the first part of the Wolfsburg Bus Crew's Spring meet with all the photos taken by Rich Coxhill. My thanks to Rich for letting me put his photos (which are far better than mine) of the meet on my blog. Next Saturday will be the 2nd part with plenty more awesome photos taken by Rich.
