Brill village fun day 2024 (part 2 of 2)

Following on from last weeks post, here is the second review of this show..

Over the weekend of 28 / 29th August the village of Brill hold a fun weekend with steam rides, attractions, assorted stalls and refreshments, kids area, 40+ real ales & ciders, street food, all day music and a classic car show. Brill village is nestled high up in the Buckinghamshire countryside, and probably most famous for it's windmill. I've been attending the Brill classic car show for many years now and it's getting bigger every year. There is a vast array of classic vehicles but without the snobbery you sometimes get from classic car owners. So on the Sunday morning, I put my sidekick, Suzie in the bus and we headed off. Brill is only about 13 miles from my hometown so this really is a local show. Continuing on from part 1 of this review..

The original Mini's were out in force at the
show.

Sterling Super Nova. A kit car body on top
of a VW Beetle floor pan and running gear.

The owner described the interior as 'an
on going project'

There were many classic bikes at the
show, here are a few that caught my eye.
This Yamaha 400 Enduro was immaculate,
and just like new. I think I've just fallen
in love!

Oh my, another Yamaha Enduro, this time
a 250cc. Just as nice as the 400cc one,
and equally desirable.

I'm not sure what this is, but I like it!

Who doesn't love a Bonneville?

Sit up and beg Ford Popular.

Immaculate T25.

This gorgeous MK3 Cortina was one of
the best, if not the best of the show in my
humble opinion.

Totally immaculate.

These really are such a beautiful looking
car. I'd love to own another MK3.

Looks like the BBQ is up and running..
time for some food.

My bus from a different angle, just for a
change.

The view from my sliding door, as I have
a cuppa and a hot dog from one of the
vendors at the show.

So that was the 2024 Brill Classic Car Show. Year upon year it just gets better and better. The quality of vehicles is outstanding with every type of classic you can think of. I recommend that if you are local enough to go along next year, you will not be disappointed.
