House of Dub VW Club meet

This month's House of Dub Club meet saw us return to the Hare and Hounds pub in Ledburn, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 0QB and after a few months away and with new owners in charge it felt like the club had gone home to the place the club meet should be. It was a chilly, misty evening but the die-hard members were not going to let the weather put them off going to the club meet. I'll apologise now for the poor colour quality of some of the photo's, although my camera takes good quality pictures in daylight, it doesn't have the best flash in the world.!

I arrived at the club meet quite early in the
evening but there were already some other
members there including Ben who came in
his super cool looking Caddy.

This really is a sweet looking pick up.

Talking to Ben throughout the evening, he
mentioned that he was thinking about
replacing the stock diesel motor with a
turbo diesel lump. Should provide a bit more
power.

This Caddy really does look good from every
angle.

Tony was also there in his super clean 2.0ltr
powered T25. Tony won 'best T25' at the
HOD open day show and shine.

Tony's T25 from the rear. Really poor
colour quality on this picture.

Likewise for this photo of the front of Tony's
trophy winning T25.

Spike and Zoe, the proprietors of the House
of Dub / HOD Imports were also parked up
by the time I arrived.

Spikes Audi powered T25.

Spike's T25 and Zoe's Beetle under the
coloured lights at the pub.

A better photo of Zoe's Beetle showing the
true colour, complete with decal's.

Being the 'boss' of the House of Dub, you
have to advertise your company.. right?

Alden arrived a bit later in his bright red and
black early bay, no mistaking this bay!

Alden's bay from the front. I do like the
sun visor.

My bay, parked up and looking a bit lonely,
but not for long...
As Amanda and her partner turned up shortly
after me in their T4, complete with red flashing
light in the grill which looked good.

The bonnet of Amanda's T4 had a pretty
cool paint job.
My bay parked up in the car park.

Alix and Claire also arrived in their cherished
T25 'Betty Rose'.

Very nice looking T25 with the pub in the
background.

Matt & Caroline came over a bit later in the
evening in their early bay.

Matt and Caroline's bay actually shining under
the external pub lights, Shows how much
polishing Matt has been doing.!

I do like the wheels on Matt's bay.

'Bod' turned up in his immaculate lime green
T5. This is one nice bus and I'm not
jealous at all...

'Bod's T5 with the super low profile tyres.

Bod's T5 and Alden's bay parked up.

I spotted this very clean Golf parked up, but
unfortunately I don't know who it belongs to.

Ash and the girls arrived much later in the
evening in his T4 (at the rear) the T4 in
the foreground belonged to a couple who I
believe it was their first visit to the club meet.
Hopefully we'll see them again.

That was the October HoD club meet,
back at the Hare and Hounds where I think
it should be. It was a really enjoyable
evening, with good friends and quality
vehicles.
