VW friends...

In my home town of Aylesbury, there is not a regular monthly meeting of VW owners to chat about VW's or anything else really, so a few of us decided to organise a monthly meet. This was only our 2nd meeting at the local watering hole, it was a modest affair but for only the 2nd meet it was good turn out and it was nice to see some good friends with their VW's. The meeting is on the first Thursday of each month at the 'The Charter' on the A41 Bicester Road (by Macdonalds) in Aylesbury and eveyone is welcome.

The line up in the car park. (left to right) is
Claude's splitty, my bus, Stuarts Beetle and
Helen's and James beetle.

A much better photo of the line up.. more car
park's should look like this.!

Claude and Jean arrived in his lovely split screen
with the bra he bought in the U.S.

My '69 bus gleaming in the evening sunshine...

Stuarts '67 beetle with the chequered front and
his newly acquired 'Taxi' sign.

James drove Helen's newly acquired beetle,
which Helen christened 'Fanny' over to the meet.

Claude, never one to miss a photo opportunity.

An enjoyable evening with good friends, and
good conversation. A monthly meet doesn't have
to be big to be a success. Thanks to Helen, James,
Claude, Jean, Adrian and of course Stuart.
