Each June the ABVWC (Association of British Volkswagen Clubs) hold their annual show at Stoner Park, Henley-on-Thames, Oxon. It is an excellent show which is high on the list of shows to attend by almost every VW owner. So despite the rain I set off early to meet some friends who had camped over, the night before.
Even though we had some serious rain throughout the day, and the visitor count was down on previous years, it was still a good turn out of vehicles. |
The public car park was starting to fill up early in the morning. |
This radical beetle was a promo vehicle for 'Oxford Car Audio' |
This certainly stood out in the crowd. |
Interior was pretty trick with an awesome sound system. |
The 'Cool Flo' guy's were present. |
The cabriolet belonged to a trader and not even in the show and shine area. Same applies to the oval in front. |
I do like a nice signwritten panel van, and I thought this was real nice. |
Early Porsche line up... really nice. |
Really trick Caddy with a really cool pushbike in the rear. |
Another variation of the Caddy... really low with the rat look. |
The beetle was so radical.. it reminded me of my hot rod days. |
Looks like a salt flat racer. |
'Toby' Jame's and Helen's beetle in the show and shine line up. |
This very high top panel was so nice.. I want it.! |
Early Porsche in the public car park, not concourse but still very desirable. |
